Recycling infrastructure map
An interactive map of dedicated recycling and processing facilities for wind turbine blades, solar photovoltaic modules, and battery packs. Covering operational sites, pilot programmes, and facilities under construction across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
Use the toggles below to show or hide facility layers by asset type. Select a marker on the map to view facility details.
About this map
Facility data has been compiled by Endenex from publicly available sources including corporate disclosures, regulatory filings, industry press, and direct engagement with operators. The map is not exhaustive and reflects the state of knowledge at the time of last update. Inclusion does not imply endorsement, commercial relationship, or verification of operational claims.
Important notes
- Coordinates are approximate and indicate city-level location rather than precise facility addresses.
- Facility status reflects the most recent publicly available information and may not capture recent changes.
- "Pilot / R&D" facilities include demonstration-scale projects, consortium-funded trials, and pre-commercial operations.
- "Under construction" denotes facilities with confirmed planning or building activity but not yet processing material at scale.
- Some operators run mobile or multi-site operations; the mapped location represents the primary or registered site.
- The map does not include general-purpose waste processors, scrap metal dealers, or landfill operators that may handle renewable energy components incidentally.
- Battery recycling facilities include both spoke (pre-processing and shredding) and hub (hydrometallurgical or pyrometallurgical refining) operations.
- Solar PV entries include manufacturer take-back programmes (e.g. First Solar) as well as independent third-party recyclers.
