EPR liability pricing

Endenex supports equipment manufacturers in quantifying and managing obligations arising under Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks across the EU and UK. This includes the EU WEEE Directive and the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations for photovoltaic modules, as well as the EU Batteries Regulation and the UK Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations for battery energy storage systems. These EPR regimes require producers and first placers to finance and organise compliant collection, treatment, recycling and reporting at end of life.

We translate installed base into a time-phased EPR liability, by country, technology and product cohort. Our models capture the full cost of compliant waste management — including collection interface, processing, recovery value and residual exposure — providing a clear, auditable basis for provisioning, pricing and lifecycle commitments.

We enable OEMs to structure take-back and end-of-life commitments on an indexed, contractable basis aligned with EPR scope and underlying cost drivers. This allows manufacturers to manage compliance exposure, avoid open-ended lifecycle promises, and integrate end-of-life obligations into product strategy, customer contracts and financial planning.
